MONTHLY EDUCATIONAL ALLOWANCE-2012

 (Project-II)

            In order to encourage the brilliant students who belong from Bishnupriya Manipuri family with poor financial conditions, the NGO had decided to extend financial support to bear the monthly expenditure incurred in education with a lumpsum Monthly Educational Allowance. Under this scheme, students who are reading in Classes-IX, X, XI & XII in any stream in the current academic session-2012-13 are applicable. Applications are invited from the students residing in the Kamrup district, Cachar district, Karimganj district and Hailakandi districts of Assam state and from the states of Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh.  

Eligibility Conditions:

1.  Students reading in Classes-IX, X, XI & XII in any stream in the current academic session-2012-13 can apply.

2.  The students should secure 60% or above in the last annual exams of classes-VIII, IX, X and  XI.

3.  Annual Income of the parents should be less than or equal to Rs.1,00,000 /- (i.e. less than or equal to Rs.8333/- per) and who work in non-government organization/private firm, self employed, unemployed, Casual labours etc.

In our society many versatile and hidden talents are available who are successful in various fields of life through their own effort, talents and dedications. Meingal have decided to search such talents from the Bishnupriya Manipuri society and bring forward to know their success story and set an example for others. It will bring a ray of hope among the mass to walk through the stairs of success inspite of various struggles in life.

Meingal team announced to introduce the “MEINGAL EXEMPLARY TALENT AWARD” by awarding to the “Beyapa (Woman)” category first. A successful woman is one who has proved herself successful in her every role of life and with her extra-ordinary talent, efforts and dedications. A versatile talented woman(beyapa) definitely set examples for others with her special knowledge and ability of performing her every role of life skillfully and intelligently for self, family and the society. In appreciation to such versatile women of Bishnupriya Manipuri society, Meingal team had decided to honour them with the “MEINGAL EXEMPLARY TALENT AWARD”. In this woman category, all females of  18 years age and above are eligible for the award irrespective of unmarried or married or widow, unemployed or employed and they should be original resident of Assam and Tripura states only. Woman who are original resident of Assam and Tripura but staying outside Assam due to marriage, profession or other reasons are also eligible for this award.

         MEINGAL is pleased to announce the Meingal Scholarship-2012 (Project- I of 2012). Students belong to Bishnupriya Manipuri are hereby informed that students who have passed HSLC Board Exam-2012 with 60% and above are invited to apply for one time Achievement “Meingal Scholarship-2012”**. The Scholarship amount will be `  5000.00 only which will be awarded to one student only from each district of Assam(Kamrup, Cachar, Karimganj & Hailkandi districts only), one from Meghalaya State and one from Arunachal Pradesh state. Students are requested to apply in the following application format and send the same by post to the Postal Address given below or personally submit to the contact persons given with contact numbers latest by 15, August, 2012.
