The Company is looking for experienced professionals having worked in Mega - Petrochemical Complex in the following areas, to be considered for placement at all hierarchical levels (Note: The qualifications required to populate each of the advertised functionalities correlate with nature of Accountabilities, and shall not be a bar for exceptionally experienced candidates) 1. Chief Project/Operations for OPaL Complex & associated Functions like Planning, Monitoring & Control Incumbent will be responsible for successful implementation of all the Projects of OPaL including Dual feed Cracker / Butadiene, Benzene, PP, PE, Butene1 and Offsite and Utilities etc safely within Schedule and Cost, shall identify and push the Critical path activities and ensure timely availability of units as per overall commissioning plan of entire complex, coordinate with PMC and various Contractors during Vendor selection and Design phase to ensure PMC / Owners inputs to get a state of art, safe, operable and reliable plant design, monitor and support construction activities to ensure that projects are completed according to the design deliverables, quality standards, plant requirements and schedule, ensure compliance of environmental and safety norms, ensure timely availability and optimization of feed, fuel and other inputs for plant start up. define performance standards for individual and provide growth opportunities, ensure smooth transition across production processes in operational phase as planned. Incumbent may transit to Chief Operations role and lead and responsible for monitoring and control of Production rates and efficiency for all units of complex, ensure Product quality as per Customer needs, ensure reliability and on-stream factor to reflect best utilization of assets benchmarked with industry norms, Feed and Fuel Optimization with emphasis on Cost optimization and energy conservation, monitoring and Control of Operation and Maintenance budgets, encourage concepts for expansions, cost reduction, quality & productivity enhancement, Value additions, etc., in future. Desired Qualification: Chief Project/Operation: Degree preferably in Chemical Engineering with atleast 20 years post qualification experience, as above. Applicants with Project Execution / Management qualifications and expertise will be given additional weightage. Associated Functions: First Class Degree in Engineering preferably in Industrial / Chemical / Mechanical Disciplines with post qualification experience in Planning, Monitoring & Control.
2. Cracker: Cracker, Benzene, Butadiene Incumbents will be responsible for project liaisoning, process reviews, project monitoring, pre-commissioning and commissioning, subsequent plant operations for Dual Feed Cracker unit is having capacity of 1,100 KTPA Ethylene, 400 KTPA Propylene licensed by M/s. Linde AG, Germany, Associated Units consist of Pyrolysis Gasoline Hydrogenation Unit PGHU licensed by M/s. Linde AG, Butadiene Extraction Unit BDEU (115 KTPA), Benzene, Extraction Unit BzEU (150 KTPA) are licensed by M/S Lurgi GmBH Germany. The construction is in full swing and 28% of the construction has been completed. Desired Qualification: Project/Process Persons: First Class degree in Chemical Engineering from a Premier Institute with post- qualification experience, as above. Maintenance Persons: First class degree in Mechanical/Electrical /Instrumentation Engineering from a Premier Institute with post-qualification experience, as above.
3. Polymer Plants : Swing PE, HDPE, PP, Butene - 1 Incumbents will be responsible for project liaison, process reviews, project monitoring, pre-commissioning and commissioning, subsequent plant operations for two lines of Gas phase PE plants each of 360 KTPA, one line of loop slurry technology based HDPE plant of 340 KTPA, one line of 340 KTPA Polymer plant. Desired Qualification: Project/Process Persons: First Class degree in Chemical Engineering from a Premier Institute with post-qualification experience, as above. Maintenance Persons: First Class degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering from a Premier Institute with post-qualification experience, as above.
4. Power Plant Incumbents will be responsible for project conceptualization, project monitoring, pre-commissioning and commissioning, liaison, process reviews, subsequent plant operations for Steam Turbine Generators, Gas Turbines and related utility Boilers, participate in final inspection of major equipments like GTs, HRSGs, and STGs, Liaison with Regulatory Authorities, comply with all statutory requirements (IBR, IER / IEA etc.) Desired Qualification: Project Persons: First Class degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from a Premier Institute with post-qualification experience, as above. Operation & Maintenance Persons: First Class degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Instrumentation Engineering from a Premier Institute with post-qualification experience in O&M functions, as above.
5. Utilities and Offsites: Air Separation Plant, Water Treatment, Cooling Water, Effluent and Storages Plan and develop utilities processes and facilities, such as De-mineralised water, steam, raw and cooling water, Nitrogen, compressed Air, and flare systems for all process plants, identify vendors, build control mechanisms for checking qualities for various products, ensure availability of all utilities within specified norms. Desired Qualification: Project/Operations Persons: First Class degree in Mechanical Engineering from a Premier Institute with post-qualification experience, as above. Maintenance Persons: First Class degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering from a Premier Institute with post-qualification maintenance experience, as above.
6. Engineering Services Incumbents will be responsible for Mechanical / Electrical / Instrument maintenance of all process and utilities unit and ensure equipment availability and reliability with predictive and preventive maintenance. This department will have specialization for rotating machine, heavy equipments, corrosion & inspection, planning, workshop, major instrument items like DCS / PLC / Analyzers etc. Desired Qualification: First Class degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering from a Premier Institute with post-qualification experience, as above, having specialization in Six Sigma, CDM etc.
7. Technical Services Incumbents will be responsible for Process design, Management of Change, Trouble shooting, process improvement scheme, Plant monitoring and control, feed and fuel optimization, energy conservation and other initiatives like six sigma, CDM etc. Desired Qualification: First Class degree in Chemical Engineering from a Premier Institute, with post-qualification experience, as above, and specialization in process mapping and Six Sigma, CDM etc.
8. Quality Assurance Laboratory Establish Quality Assurance systems, carryout laboratory analysis of raw materials like chemicals / catalyst / additives, establish process and SOPs for Cracker / Polymers Plants / Utilities, assure quality of final products, viz, Polymers, Benzene, Butadiene, documentation to meet ISO requirements. Desired Qualification: First Class Master Degree in Chemistry from a Premier Institute, with post-qualification experience, as above.
9. Health ,Safety & Environment Plan and develop systems for Risk Assessment and Mitigation, Safety Systems, Audit systems for various plants, Develop Waste Management system, establish internal norms for discharge of wastes, effluents and emissions, ensuring compliance with all Safety & Environment regulations, liaison with statutory authorizes. Desired Qualification: First Class degree in Chemical Engineering / Environment Engineering from a Premier Institute with post-qualification experience, as above.
10. Material Management: Procurement, Contracts & Inventory Management Manage tendering, contracts, for chemical / petrochemical complex and procurement, inventory management, logistics, clearance and storage of chemicals, additives, and raw materials for production Ethylene, Polymers, spares, consumables for Petrochemical Complex. Desired Qualification: First Class degree in Engineering from a Premier Institute with post-qualification experience as above A PG degree/Diploma in Material Management / Supply Chain Management shall be given additional weightage.
11. Marketing: Sales, Business Development, Logistics (both Domestic & Export), Product Applications Manage Domestic and Export Sales, Logistics, Vendor Development, Market Research & Planning, Business Development, and Product applications of 1.5 MMT per annum of Polymers like, HDPE/LLDPE/PP and 0.5 MMT per annum like Butadiene, Benzene, CBFS and Py Gas. Desired Qualification: First Class degree in Engineering, preferably in Chemical Engineering / Polymer Technology / Management or MBA / PG qualification in Marketing Management / Supply Chain Management from a Premier Institute with post-qualification experience, as above.
12. IT: Architecture Planning, Integration & Maintenance Plan and develop IT architecture for plant and offices, manage technology partners involved in IT related projects, provide users with exhaustive data warehouses and workflow facilities for better decision making, identify risks and work towards their mitigation Desired Qualification: First Class degree in Computer Engineering/Information Technology from a Premier Institute with post-qualification experience, as above.
13. Finance – Corporate Finance, Accounting & Control, Treasury / Public Offer, Risk Management, Taxation Manage Financial Accounting and Control including Audit of Accounts in SAP environment, implementation of IFRS, and finalization of large contracts including management of payments and closing of contracts. Compilation and preparation of Budget, monitoring and control in the project phase as well as during operation, MIS, Product Closing and control, project cost control, techno economic and feasibility studies, Insurance and Risk Management, raising of loans for very large project financing including foreign currency loans, ECA / ECS, Treasury Management, interaction with banks / institutes, raising of equity through IPO / FPO, working capital management, Taxation both direct / indirect with knowledge of SEZ rules. Desired Qualification: First Class degree in CA / ICWA or MBA (Finance) from a Premier Institute with post-qualification experience, as above.
14. Human Resources: Talent Acquissions, Talent Management, IR and General Services Acquire and Manage Talent, develop future leaders, benchmark and design reward and incentive systems, build employee engagement, engage in capability development, create performance culture, comply with all statutory compliances, establish state of art facilities for employees including all general services contracting, organize CSR and community services. Desired Qualification: First class MBA in HR / PGDBM in Human Resources / PMIR from a Premier Institute with post-qualification experience, as above. Applicants for General Services positions should possess relevant qualification in Facilities Management from a Premier Institute.
15. Security & Fire Plan, establish and manage general security administration of the plant and assets of the company including providing the complete Security & fire architecture, manage threats and risks, create Fire response mechanism, procure and maintain fire-fighting equipments, liaise with government agencies, continually evaluate developments in the industry affecting security status of the business and be conversant with IT driven processes in managing Security and Fire systems. Security Personnel: Graduate from a Premier Institute with post-qualification experience, as above. Fire & Safety Personnel: First Class degree in Fire Engineering or a First Class degree in Science and Diploma in Fire Management from a Premier Institute with post-qualification experience, as above. |
