MEINGAL declared the list of eligible candidates for the "Meingal Scholarship-2011(Project-I)" and the "Monthly Educational Allowance Scheme-2011-12 (Project-II)".
Under the project "Meingal Scholarship-2011", one time scholarship amount of Rs.5000/- only and a Certificate of Honour will be awarded to the Bishnupriya Manipuri students who have passed in Class-X Board Examination-2011 (with 60% and above). The eligible students for the scholarship are selected on the basis of merit who secured highest percentage among the applicants from Hailakandi district, Kamrup district and Karimganj district of Assam. Total 03 students(toppers) have been selected for the Scholarship viz. 01 student each from Kamrup, Hailakandi and Karimganj districts. To know the details of the Project-I please click here....
Regarding, "Monthly Educational Allowance Scheme-2011-12", Bishnupriya Manipuri students, residents of Guwahati, reading in Class-XI and Class-XII in the academic session-2011-12 and passed Class-X and XI exams with 60% and above are entitled to avail this scheme. Under this scheme, the monthly educational allowance will be given @ Rs. 500/- for 12 months per student. The awardees will be intimated accordingly and the scholarship and educational allowance will be awarded according to the students' convenience.
