Essay Writing Competition
Meingal is going to organize an Essay Writing Competition on the following topic either in English or Bishnupriya Manipuri.
In English
Exemplary Role of Women in my life and in the Bishnupriya Manipuri Society

Last Date to submit the Essay : 15 August, 2012
The essay should be written within 1200 words, neatly written or typed in double space in A-4 size paper duly signed in by the writer himself/herself at the end of the essay. The hard copy of the essay should contain a cover page containing a brief profile of the writer along with the latest passport sized photograph. Participants are requested to send a soft copy of the essay in a CD alongwith the hard copy of the essay if possible but not compulsory. Competition is open for all Bishnupriya Manipuri people of India
A magazine will be published compiling all the essays and the success story of selected women for the Meingal Exemplary Talent Award.
The best three essays will be awarded with the following prize money and a certificate:-
1st prize - Rs.3000.00
2nd prize - Rs.2000.00
3rd prize - Rs.1000.00
Special prizes and consolation prizes with certificates will also be awarded to all the participants.
